I'll be back in a bit...

Getting quite a lot of comments about the new management structure in huts.

It's definitely pissed a lot of people off and it seems like a step backward.

I'll do a more detailed post about it later today or this week.

we need to make sure we are all aware of our rights....i spoke to a solicitor today regarding this, did you know that if they do change your contract or demote you you have to agree to the new terms and conditions, if you don't then they have to by law offer you redundancy!!! also the solicitor said not to think they "have us in a situation where they want us" we are in a very strong position regarding the new contracts because they have to suit us all!!!!

Protest against Pizza Hut's totalitarian changes...(facebook group)

Pizza Hut are apparently creating "hundreds" of new positions as Deputy Managers and Managers...so why are they actually shedding jobs and demoting existing staff?
Just found a group on facebook all should join!!

Actually Sarah, if you do not agree to the chnages then there are notice periods wherby changes can be made to your contract. 16 weeks is the basic period, however once you have worked for PH for either 2 or 3 years (forgetting the precise figure), you get an additional week per year served.

That solicitor should know that...

If you have a mixer, use the dough hooks for super fast dough, but otherwise, use a bowl and your hands for great results.

Mix the dry ingredients together, then slowly add the wet. Easy. Mix and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic, it doesn’t take that long.Pizza Equipment
