Hmm a woman today. "Yeah I don't like this pizza and it is COLD!". I felt it, it wasn't cold at all so...should I stand there and argue about it or replace it? I replaced it, because I don't like to argue with old ladies cos they give you a particular look...
So she got another type pizza because she didn't like the one she asked for - right or wrong?
I've had a sneak preview of the new menus and it is great. We've got a new pudding...a new pizza...a new meal, all sorts! So any of you who go to Express (please comment if you do...and where it is if possible?) you'll be in for a change from next week, but nothing is being taken away - so don't worry!
PS: Glad most people like the new template :-)

slightly off topic, but after seeing you mention them on another blog, im curious, just what is a pizza rocker?
A pizza rocker is what the pizza is cut with...a more industrial alternative to pizza wheels.
Our rockers are like these:

Quite vicious.
To answer your right or wrong questions, or at least to give my opinion:
1. I would have replaced the customer's pizza unless they had eaten half of it or something.
2. I wouldn't have given them a different pizza. While the pizza being cold (whether it actually was or not is irrelevent she believed, or at least claimed, it was) is Pizza Hut's problem the fact that she ordered something she turned out not to like isn't.
I can understand why you did it, but I would wager that she claimed it was cold just so she could change the type of pizza. It would have been interesting to see what she would have done if you had refused to replace it with anything other than the original order.
It's amazing how many problems disappear when they're told they can't have something. Or, perhaps I'm just fantastically cynical.
Did she tell you she "died in two world wars for people like you?" and then push rudely through the door in front of three other people?
No?..so obviously you get a better class of old dear your way!
Hmmm, Im pretty sure I wouldnt of swapped it for a different type. People will try anything...
I just wanted to say I've spent the afternoon reading your blog archives and I enjoyed myself. I always love to see what others in various food/retail industries have to say. Thanks for an enjoyable afternoon! ;)
