Prank call

The phone rang and I decided to get it:

"Hello do you delivery?"
"No sorry.."
"Do you do pick up?"
"Yes. We are an Express store though..so we just have set pizzas"
"What toppings do you do?"
I went through the pizzas extremely monotonously.
"Right ok...I'll pay extra if you shit on them"

I went silent and then I heard a lot of laughter in the background. It didn't really bother me so I laughed back at them and they were the ones who hung up first...I won I reckon!!!

I tried 1471 just to see if I could call them back, but it said they were international...do they not have pizza restaurants abroad..?!

You should of agreed and said you have his address on screen linked to his phone number he is calling from.

I had a pizza meal thing at the Express in Alton Towers today and the pizza was nice but the chips were the worst things I have ever tasted.

They look burnt, but were not cooked. Someone must of flash fried them, terrible!

Hehe.

Excuse me! They are Aviko Seasoned Fries and cost 12-15p a portion so they should have been delicious!!

They have 2mins 45secs to fry, and if someone hadn't pressed the button, it can be difficult to tell if they are cooked because of the seasoning. They do taste pretty grim not cooked properly, and I imagine Alton Towers is a really busy restaurant and quality goes out of the window. Complain to the store you'll get a replacement, complain to RSC and you'll get £25 vouchers.

Out of interest...were the staff wearing grey or black and which pizza did you have?

"Aviko"... I do like their tagline on their website; "The Aviko Group is a world leader in the production of potato specialities" - just something about it. ;-)

With regards to the telephone number, my guess is they were ringing from some company that uses some form of "blocking" / "misinforming" hardware on their telephone switch, like the telemarketing b@stards who set up their systems so you always get "we do not have the number to return the call" (like my company does, but we are not telemarketers I hasten to add)or the overseas message.

I still like the simple "Is Mr Wall there?" "Are any of the walls there?" "Well, how's the roof being held up?!?!?" calls myself. Timeless... ;-)

The fries were black on the edges, but pretty hard to bite... I binned them!

I just had a margherita pizza meal, put me back nearly £5...

I think she was wearing black. Service was fine, pizza was fine.

Sadly, I only ever get to answer internal calls, so I never get any prank calls.

I feel like I'm missing out.
